Freshwater Carp Shootout
« on: May 19, 2016, 10:51:43 AM »
Buy in will be $15.00 on the day of the event May 21, 2016
Black Butte Lake at the Orland Campground Boat Ramp.
This will be an open dive  meaning you will not need to be a CenCal Member  or  NorCal Member or affiliated club member.
The money collected will go towards the pot and be divided as follows
Top 5 Carp weight in pounds will receive  60 percent of the pot
Largest Carp in weight will receive 40 percent of the pot

Northern California Skin Divers top five fish will go to the yearly points total. Several of us will be camping at the Orland Campground at Black Butte Lake.  There will be a pot luck later that night for those that are camping or wanting to hang around.  Last year the water did not cooperate and due to low levels and very dirty water.   I have contacted Bill Vanderwaal to  confirm the lake level; this weekend and I will report back to everyone next week.
This year we are giving Duanne Shoemake the Golden Abalone Award.
Waivers and buy in will be done from 7 to 8:30 AM the day of the dive.  For additional information please contact
Dennis Belcher   -  dennisb@dbelcher.com  I will be staying in site 10 for those that stay overnight and wish to register the night before
Let me know if you plan on attending.
