I found a few in hawaii or somthing similar but have not seen any so far in nor cal I may not be looking in the right place.
Trust me they are hear look for the pink lips LOL LOL !!!

I used to think i was good at finding pink lips in low  visabilty, but ive never seen  a scallop  on the north coast  :tongue1:

Take a tank, look for strawberry anemones about 40' in open ocean (arena rock or little arena ) is a great place to begin.there is a lot out of salt pt.orange lips and they close up when they fill current change like when you approach
