Mushroom ID Help
« on: December 17, 2014, 03:05:28 PM »
I'm more of a reader than a poster, but hoped I could get some help id'ing this.  Brand new to attempting to forage mushrooms (researched enough to know NOT to eat unless I'm 100% confident in my own identification).  Checked out plenty of sites to varify, but only a few show the Oyster mushroom in this color. Orrrr it could be something totally different.  Probably the latter, but let me know what everyone thinks.  Thanks!

Looks like an oyster to me, but I've never found then in the wild that color -- only the farmers markets.
