Has anyone dive in Horseshoe Cove on Bodega Head for abalone or any other things that can be killed and enjoyed?

Believe it's some kind of preserve owned by the UC system... You need an appt just to drive out there.  I'm not sure but I don't think you're going to be killing anything out there.

Thanks, are there any locations in that area which may be "less" dangerous to shoot fish?

If you don't mind me asking, why do you want to shoot fish off the head?  Further north about 5 miles I know of a decent spot.  PM me if you're interested.
