1. Dive more than twice this year.
2. Become a diver/ spend more time in the water
3. Find an AB bigger than 9 15/16.
4. Learn to spear fish.

I guess I completed my goals. Special thanks to Jason who is an awesome mentor, and friend. And my wife who bought me my Banks board and watched the kids while I got addicted to diving. She does love when I bring home fresh fish.  This was the first time I have ever been in the water after June and I dove about three times a month.

1. Shoot a vermillion bigger than 8 inches.
2. Shoot a halibut

:  )

Sincerely,

Jim

ps...two goals isn't enough dude!

I also wanna get my first male sheephead, and pop more people's monkey cherrys, and get an ab bigger than 9.25 inches, and get another 40 inch ling, and break fuzz's state record mfe again, and dive as many days as possible, and have as much fun as I possibly can!

;  )

So far I've got 4 of my 2013 goals...

Verm bigger than 8 inches: http://doty.norcalkayakanglers.com/catches/399

Halibut: http://doty.norcalkayakanglers.com/catches/590

Male Sheep: http://doty.norcalkayakanglers.com/catches/499

Ab bigger than 9.25: http://doty.norcalkayakanglers.com/catches/517

Have shot 2 monkeys longer than fuzz' record, but still need to get one over 6 pounds 14 ounces....

http://doty.norcalkayakanglers.com/speciesleaders/list_by_species/8

No giant lings yet...biggest has been about 32 inches...will keep looking for another zilla!

http://doty.norcalkayakanglers.com/catches/500

Have been diving as much as I can and having fun the whole time, and I think that is my most important goal!!

 8)

Sincerely,

Jim

I did manage to regain the MFE State Record.  :)

My big Ling for the year was only 38 inches, but I still consider 2013 a success.  :)

Sincerely,

Jim

1) shoot my first mfpb, halibut, wsb, sheep
2) get my first 10" ab, and a scallop

Crap, I could use my 2013 and make it my 2014, since I didn't complete anything.  (since my daughter was born this year, the time spent with her makes up for it)

My goals are pretty simple (like me):

1. Shoot fish freediving
2. Get an abalone
3. Shoot a MFPB freediving
4. See a &^$#&@! halibut to shoot at
5. Dive with more NCUH members!

Happy 2014 all  ;D
