Shaggy Days ;-)
« on: December 30, 2012, 10:14:46 PM »
Found 8lbs of Shaggy Parasol today in about an hour in a park outlying a baseball diamond on a downward slope. Probably got 15pounds in this last week. These are going off
right now around Sacramento. Stick to Oak or Pine and you will be fine ;-)

and lets hope the ocean calms down soon Im dying to get wet-
Happy new year everyone!!!

Nice haul, Russ. I think I found some of those after a dive the other day, but ended up tossing them. I remember that the stipes turned orange-pink when I broke them, but I totally forgot that shaggy parasols have that property. Oh well...

They grow all over the place here in Fairfield too! I picked a bag full last week but they tend to self destroy in less than 24 hours so i didn't get a chance to use them... Nice haul Russ! It's really cool that you've gotton into it!
