Most reliable Sonoma Coast forecast???
« on: October 16, 2009, 11:18:33 AM »
Just curious what website you all are using to predict conditions along the Sonoma Coast.  I look at all of them to get an idea what to expect, but this only gets me so far.  I do like Salt Point Ocean Conditions, but on a day like today when the water may be clearing up a little (hoping for 6' viz) there is no report.  Sometimes I'll compare the Bodega Bay buoys actual stats with the predictions, just to see if the predictions seem high or low.  :dontknow:  What do you all use?

For instance this weekend, am I diving or doing yardwork :whip2:?

Never looked at the second two, thanks! The Bodega cam is in a fairly protected cove just south of the head, correct?

Thanks

What are you all talking about?? The best forecast for the Sonoma coast is:

Call Matt at 4:30am, tell him to get his butt out of bed and drive the 3.792 min to the mouth of russian river, take a pic and get a detailed description of the swell then post it here!! LOL! Nothing like real time!  :laughing7:
