I would also like to thank Matt Mattison in advance for bringing the micrometer for measuring the abs! Just a reminder, bro. That, and the octopus for the Iron Chef Challenge.

And thanks, Matt, for all you have done these past years for our fishery.

Pre-registration for $40 ends tomorrow (the 10th). At the stroke of midnight.

After that, registration at the event is $60. Still a good deal: 3 nights camping, dive tourney, trophies, event t-shirts, lunch and dinner Saturday, wine tasting, dive private access, good people, silent auction, raffle, Iron Diver Chef Comp...

and this particular area will be closed to fishing on New Year's Day, because of the MLPA. Might take a while to open it back up, but that is one of our goals.

We'll also be working on abalone issues as the "Department of Fish and Wildlife" (ugh) will be proposing new restrictions soon.

Mike you sound like a lucky guy as well, My Son wants nothing to do with diving.  We should arrive about 1:00 PM friday if we are lucky.

I'll be up there this evening, staying over tonight but probably leaving tomorrow evening.

I'll be in an orange-starburst Scupper-Pro kayak and driving a silver Chrysler Aspen, so if you see me, introduce yourself!!
