For those who occasionally use scuba tanks, here is a link to a pretty good article about scuba tank choices.http://www.scubaboard.com/forums/content/352-diving-right-tank.html

Thanks Gary, good basic snap shot on the goods about tanks. It's hard to beat them chrome molybdenum tanks, if one can afford them. My perspective, stick to the LP tanks as well.

Thanks Gary
I just purchased a HP 100 for $365.00 at Petaluma sport and dive.
They will be able to pump it up to the 344 PSI. Unfortunately that is there max.

OMG Dave 100's do you want to say down forever ;) And Petaluma sport and dive is my favorite fill station and among other things as well. Great store for the diver, fishermen and hunter as well.

I have all 3 tanks and between them the HP 100 is my go to then my lp85 next for all the reason they stated. Allum tanks are a pain, not much bottom time on them and all the extra weight you must carry for them.

Thanks for the Article Gary
My aluminum 80 failed, so after all the research I ended up
going with the HP Steel 100, was the best thing I ever did.
