Does rockfish taste good if made into sashimi?

Anyone has tried to eat them raw?

If you haven't done it yet, I would avoid it - they are known for those little curly brown worms. On the other hand, I think freezing fish can kill those guys and then it's okay to eat raw. I'm sure some people eat rockfish raw, so it's probably safe in some form.

Just do some research and be sure you know what you are eating, etc...

the lingcod and rockfish cheeks make good sashimi, haven't tried it with the fillet.
the nematodes you fined in fish fillets (aka curly brown worms) live in salt water, I doubt they can survive in a fresh water environment like the human body.
