Soft where updates for the Aeris F10 watch
« on: July 20, 2011, 04:24:21 PM »
For those who already have an F10 (or get one that has been sitting on the shelf for any length of time), and either get the low-battery indicator freqently or have other issues...Aeris firmware update "1C" available for the Aeris F10, release date 12-20-10...

Step 1: www.oceanicworldwide.com/temp

Step 2: Click on the "F10.zip" file link and download it.

Step 3: Double click and run the "F10FWU_SETUP.EXE" application.

Step 4: Follow the instructions and have your Aeris USB cable handy, be sure to click on the update date/time button after installing the firmware revision.

Step 5: Run your Aeris Computer Interface software, update your settings like normal... DIVE COMPUTER> SETTING OPTIONS> READ SETTING FROM DC.

You will now see "1C" listed in the firmware revision box. This, as I was told by Aeris tech support yesterday, will fix the battery-low indicator as well as other problems, and is the most current update available.

Sh!t, looks like I need to purchase a USB cable now. Mine has been giving me the low battery signal for a while now.

I have a USB cable you guys can borrow to upgrade.  The f10 software interface sucks and not worth the 99 bucks for it.

Anytime I am up that way or your down where I am, I will be glad to help upgrade the software.

im in the market for either the f10 v2 or galileo luna, cant really decide between the two, i really just want the luna for the heart rate monitor, but the thing is freaking huge and cant be worn out in public....unless your robocop.....and the f10's layout and style looks better then suunto's d4 and d4i the chrome bezel is definently not the business....
