My first dive vid
« on: June 22, 2011, 06:57:05 PM »
Here is a little something my 13 yo son helped me put together.  Hopefully this will be the first of many.

Let me know what you think.

Thanks Matt.  That's a 9" gage.  I haven't graduated to a 10 yet.   :laughing7:

My son is in charge of the editing.  I just take the raw footage and select the music.    Darn kids!

Great video Mike!  Those all looked like 9inches!  Was it a spot we dove?

Nice video...

One criticism though...after you popped the ab I really wanted to see it in your hand...

Otherwise that was a great video!

That spot was a little north of where we dove, Alex.  We might hit it next week, if you are free let me know.

Thanks chucky, the vis was good when I shot those clips.

Crawl, walk, run,  Matt.

KH, I'll be sure to include clips of the catch in future work.

Thanks MN...It's just that...well..that ab you popped looked so nice I needed to see it in your hands.... :icon_thumright:

That spot you were at looks incredible.  I love seeing the nice sized abs loaded on a wall and under the nooks and crannies in your video!

That ab was my biggest for the day, about 9-5/8", it was a stand out in that group.   In a future video I'll be sure to make the theme "the harvest".

Russ, I want to see more fish get blapped, too.  But I'm not a very good spearo.

Hey Mike,

At 3:09 and 3:26 into your video...isn't that a huge ab to your left?  If you were using a 9" gauge and the one to the left was an ab...that thing was huge!

Thanks NorthshorD.  Note to self, don't take away Jr's computer rites when I need a video edited.  He really cleaned up things  with the editing and deserves most of the credit.  I can't believe how talented he is with this stuff.

KH,  It's funny what I don't remember seeing until I review the videos.  I am just happy to capture the memories and to be able to share them with everyone.  The  decent abs and small fish are a bonus.
