good things about spit...
1. It works great
2. You never run out
3.  If the mask fogs again, use more spit.
4.  it isn't a foreign chemical.

Kelp works too.
Dad, what's for dinner?

Wookie steaks

Are they good?

Ehhh, they're a little Chewy.

I used to use the spit technique, and it worked pretty well, but lately have been grabbing some sea weed (usually bull kelp) and rubbing that on my lens.  Works great and lasts a long time, and there's always more of it if you begin to fog up!!!!!

Matt , in the video on how to defog the mask they  show the lenses  have a cross on each lense, are they permanantly on the lense? And  how about some info on where you purchased yours, did you try it on first?

Ya, it works great.  Much better than spit.  I learned it from a video I saw about the Korean haenyo divers.

The lighter method works too. All the toothpaste is doing is scrubbing off the reside left from the manufacturing process. the lighter does the same thing only quicker.

I just started using the sea weed trick. changes the game for me. maybe I have low grade spit but spitting only works for half an hour if that. I started grabbing weed and I put it on once at the beginning and I'm good for 2-3 hours at least. I found the smaller purplish stiff that looks like mixed greens salad works the best. just feel it, if its slick and slippery you should be in good shape.
it was a goonies reference
