Most basic freedive computer

(1/1)

Glaucus:
What's the most basic freedive computer out there.  All I want is depth and time at and below the surface (I have no desire to do scuba).  Just wondering if there's something out there that isn't in the $200-$500 range.  I know, I know, you get what you pay for... just wondering if I can score something for maybe $100-$150.

MATT MATTISON:
one word E-bay just keep watching and bidding !

el_pedorro:
Matt never had much luck with the Timex Helix http://offer.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewBids&item=190405857937, but I've been using mine on every dive for a year and a half with no problems.

I had to replace the battery 1st thing after I originally got it, and just had to replace it again last month.

It's the best $20 investment I've ever made in diving. Tells me the water temp and how deep and how long each dive is.

rangair94:
That's a good deal. You wouldn't have worry about messing it up like a few hundred dollar one. You could just get another one. The only problem I see is its only good to 50M I would have to cut my dives short.

 Ya right.
