This years Randy Fry memorial "Big X" will be held at the Manchester KOA campground in Manchester California.

Please check with the Manchester KOA for camping or cabin accommodations prior to the tournament. Phone # for the Manchester KOA is 707-882-2375. Book early.

Ticket sales for general tournament admission are now available. T-Shirts are included with general tournament admission of $50.00. HOODIES WITH THE RANDY FRY LOGO FOR THIS YEAR ARE ALSO AVAILABLE FOR PRE ORDERING separate from the general admission for $45.00. ALTHOUGH SOME EXTRAS WILL BE ORDERED, WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO GUARANTEE AVAILABILITY OF HOODIES FOR DAY OF SALES AT THE EVENT. PRE-ORDERING IS THE WAY TO GUARANTEE GETTING ONE. TShirts and HOODIES will be ordered and printed in mid May in order to have them in time for the tournament. Extras will be ordered, but sizing cannot be guaranteed for those who sign up after the t-shirts are ordered. Tournament sales may be available the day of the tournament for CASH ONLY. T-Shirts will be available on a first come first served basis for "Day Of" sign ups. Check in for the tournament will start at 6:30 am. Divers will be released for tournament upon registering in order to get to your dive destination. You will be required to check in with your dive buddy. No solo divers. Dive buddies must both check in after diving before either will be allowed to weigh in. You must be in the weigh in line no later than 2 pm for your catch to be eligible.

Upon check in, you will recieve your wristband for lunch of a tritip, chilli beans, salad and garlic bread. Food will be available for non participants for $10.00 per person available first come first served on the day of the tournament.

Rules for the tournament:

Largest aggregate pound weight of fish from 5 SPECIFIC species listed below:

Blue Rockfish

Black Rockfish

Lincod (must be 30")

Cabezone (must be 15")

Vermillion or Halibut (Halibut must be 22")

All  fish must be at least 14" in length unless otherwise specified above.

A 10 point bonus for having each of the 5 fish sized as stated above.

10 points for the largest Scallop

Catagories to be judged:

General Admission 1st place for the most points.

Junior's 1st place for the most points. (Junior is under 18 years of age.)

Women's 1st place for the most points

Honorable mentions for 2nd and 3rd place for points and abalone in these same catagories.

Special Prize TBA to the diver who brings in the largest weight of purple urchins.

Great event in challenging conditions.  I'm sure Paul or Grummy will post more but the Women's division and overall winner was Elizabeth Forrest wth a 13 lb, 10 oz ling cod taken at Albion
