« on: March 12, 2019, 02:17:07 PM »
Here is a great video Josh Russo just posted of a site in SoCal that has done urchin removal, then time lapsed all the kelp growing back... How cool is that?!  8) 8) 8) I hope we all continue to join and share the Urchin removals for NorCal to #helpthekelp

That’s absolutely beautiful!
Planning, Action and Validation all wrapped up into a presentation that should be used at the opening for every NorCal ABalone discussion and meeting.
I wish that I was out on the water instead of sitting here playing with this computer...

Are videos like this being made of the removal efforts here?

My wife works at the MB Aquarium. They say that kelp can grow 2 feet per day which is crazy!

I just asked Josh if we could do it on our next event in May at Ocean Cove. Just have some local go dive it regularly along the same path and structure.
