March 9th  2019 Urchin Removal Event, Van Damme part deux
Mar 9 at 8 AM – Mar 10 at 1 PM VanDam state Park

Our January event was reluctantly cancelled due to conditions.  We will try again March 9-10, 2019.  Anyone wishing to remove purple urchin will need a valid California fishing license. WE do need volunteers on shore and on kayas as well.  Van Damme state park and campground is directly across the street.  They do allow RV's to camp in the parking lot overnite for $20.  There are several hotels in the area as well.  For the higher end I'd recommend Little River Inn.  For more of a budget friendly hotel I'd recommend the motel 6 in Fort Bragg.  Motel six offers military and first responder discounts as well as AAA discount.  Dive briefing will be at the south end of the parking lot at 8am Saturday.
