WTB: 36" Threaded American Shaft
« on: January 11, 2019, 10:42:19 AM »
I'm having a difficult time finding a 36" (or anything 36"38") threaded American notch shaft with shark fins for my 80cm wood gun. Pictured below for length (measured from muzzle tip). Any thoughts on where to look? I've tried all the usual suspects...

Isn't the Neptonics custom shaft American notch? And I know you can get those threaded and shark fin.

That was one of the "usual suspects" that I looked into. Their threaded shafts start at 47". The custom shafts are potentially the only option.

https://neptonics.com/product/custom-length-shafts/

Aside from that, you'll have to either look at whatever brand your gun is or, if custom, just go with a custom shaft.

JBL also has some shafts that may suit you, depending on thickness:

For a 5/16" @ 36 inches length.

You. are. a. bro! Thank you for the help. JBL is the first ones I've seen make this. The reason I didn't see it was I was looking in the 9/16" shaft which was only 32 and 42". I've reached out to them.

Thank you again
