Prescription Diving Masks
« on: August 03, 2018, 04:46:39 PM »
Curious to know if any of you folks have prescribed diving masks? I took a friend of mine spearfishing and he had a difficult time spotting fish and getting caught in the kelp beds. I told him he could try using contacts but contacts end up irritating his eyes after a short while.

If anyone has prescribed divings masks, which website did you use and how are they working out for you?

Thanks in advanced

I ordered my prescription mask from Amazon.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B011VYD8W0/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 -- NEAR-SIGHTED
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00YLVY0GE/ref=s9_dcacsd_dcoop_bw_c_x_3_w -- FAR-SIGHTED

The mask works fine and is pretty good quality.

Maggiore optical will install prescription lenses in any mask you send them. I’ve had two made over the years and have been very happy with them.

You send them you mask and prescription and it comes back in the mail a week or two later.

Definitely recommended.

Thanks for the replies. I’ll send him to both amazon and Maggiore Optical and see what fits he needs. Cheers
