WTB Blue Water Gun
« on: July 08, 2018, 11:39:35 AM »
Hey y'all. I've got a spot reserved on The Peace Boat for the end of the month 3 day trip to Cortes Bank. I'm praying conditions will be great. My biggest gun is the Sea Sniper 110 Holy Roller. It's a pretty good size for WSB but I'm worried if I run into some larger/faster fish I might wish I had something much bigger. Does anyone have something collecting dust they'd like to get some cash for?

Thanks.
Dan

1. New Sea Sniper enclosed track 150 SSRHE, 150cm rear handle enclosed track, skulls hydrodip, 9/32" flopper shaft (Addiction I believe) $650
2. New Mako 140 with flopper shaft,  $220
3. Mitzlaff 64" (maybe 65"), tuna gun 5 bands, 5/16 shaft, teak, enclosed track, threaded shaft no tip, rigged with cable, I bought but never shot this gun. It should be recoil free as it weights 14 pounds. $650
4. Mako 130 flopper shaft, with spooled reel $260

Guns have been in storage for a few years hence they probably need new bands

Thanks Mike. I have seen your guns on this site and in person. Very nice work! At this point I'm hoping someone will want to part with an old used gun for a fair price cuz I don't have funds to buy a new $1,000+ gun.

I have the 62 advertised for $600, but it is only a 3 band gun.  I wouldn't call it blue water, but it will get the point out there.  :-)

the best deal around, I build my own bluewater guns and I'm pretty sure they cost me more to build than what Mike charges.

And if you need some throw flashers I can tell you how to make them for super easy and super cheap. I made like 30 of them for 60 dollars with duct tape being the costly item.

Fortunately I just scored a crate full of flashers and all sorts of lures and fishing gear. But I'd love to hear your duct tape recipe. I also got a good tip about cheap improvised throw flashers: Go to a thrift store and buy a bunch of kitchen spoons for super cheap. They spin, sink slowly, and flash and are super cheap.
