Over the weekend our team of recreational divers pulled 57,505 purple urchin from Albion.  The weight was only 4,200 lbs but these urchin were much smaller than the ones we pulled at Ocean Cove.  I don't have the totals for the commercial boats yet but I'm very happy with the numbers from the recreational divers.  Thank you to everyone that made this a successful event.  The next one is the last weekend of September, 9/29-30 at Ocean Cove again.  Remember that the key is sheer numbers so bring everyone you know, diver or not.

Very cool, That seems like a very good number of those purple bastards not eating kelp,
How many divers did we have? My wife had a ton of fun running divers in and out of the harbor. she said everyone was very nice and friendly.
I am looking forward to the next dive at Ocean cove and I will be bringing kayaks to run bags in and out!!
Thanks for the updates
I am afraid after I am dead my wife will sell all my fishing gear for what I said I paid for it

I don't know yet but my mechanic got it running on Monday.  There's a misfire in one cylinder so he's going to clean the injectors.  Jensen Marine in Woodland is the best.  Chris continues to impress me every time I deal with him.
