Where to post about dive buddies?
« on: March 26, 2018, 08:58:31 AM »
Hello all, I am a beginner out of the bay area.  I excelled in the level 1 free diving safety and rescue course I took last year, and have gone ab diving in the past.  I am comfortable in the water and even did a 6 month stint as a hull diver.  I linked up with a friend of a friend and we planned on going diving for lings in the near future, but he has been hard to make plans with and bailed on a dive date recently.  I definitely will be diving with him in the future but I really want to get out there sooner than later.   I have been thinking about this all year.  I am fully prepared to go with all my gear. We can talk about the spots I have in mind, or you suggest one.  I can drive up the coast early in the morning, or stay with friends the night before in Point Arena.  I need a buddy! Anyone want to go diving for lings?

Hey whats up man, There is a sub section on the forum called "Dive Buddy Connection". Usually other divers out there will post the logistics on the dive (the depth they are diving, area, kayaking or shore diving etc.) Feel free to contact me anytime if you want to head out one of these days.

What he said.  ^

But feel free to post anywhere.  It keeps Matt M sharp because he has to move them to the proper location.

Welcome aboard.
Which freediving class did you take?  What depth are you comfortable diving?  Do you have a kayak or are you shore diving?
