The F&G Commission meeting will be broadcast live at the above link.  There will be two abalone agenda items.  # 17 will have some FMP comments.  #22 will be a discussion about the 2018 regulations.  Both items will be on Oct 12.

On item 17 I'll also be bringing up the recreational diver side of the urchin project if you're wondering what it will look like.

What is FMG?

FMP =  Fishery Management Plan.  In this case, pertains to the Red Abalone Fishery Management Plan
