Big shout out and a thank you to Red Triangle Spearfishing for donating the first $1,000 to the urchin removal project.

A great model for other bushiness to follow!

If you want to build a ship, don't drum up people to collect wood and don't assign them tasks and work, but rather teach them to long for the endless immensity of the sea.  –Antoine de Saint-Exupéry

I didn't intend to smash them. My intent was to poke a hole in the shell using a tool that would prevent the diver from being stabbed by urchin spines. Right now the roe is shriveled in all of the urchins I have cracked.

Who is Cynthia anyway?

Oh!  Well I'll put it right at the top of my list to follow her recommendations.

Is this the collaboration you've been waiting on Jack?

No. Not even close.

Aside form "The Perfect Storm" (TPS) sales pitch, which I totally detest, I have a great deal of respect for Cynthia's work. And she's not the "author" of TPS - she didn't coin the phrase. But unfortunately, despite protestations to Sonke and others, she continues to use the term to explain current environmental realities.
