Great way to prepare a lot of fish
« on: July 01, 2017, 12:45:40 PM »
So over the past week I've brought in 3 Lingcod, 10 assorted rock fish, and 3 MFE. I was running out of ways to cook my fish when I came across this dish watching Bizarre Foods. Cod Au Gratin. Super easy and really good. I just added  a little Panko on the top before baking it. Here's the recipe I kinda followed.

I tend to follow the same rule but this looks pretty damn good.

Hi Joe

Since I am not cating a lot of fish, I don't have to worry about cooking them yet. ;D
I am currently enjoying my PFI class at Long Beach.

Haha, probably didn't do it justice when I described it that way.

Finaly got some lingcod and was able to give the  old Norwegian Cheese cod a try,  i am a huge fan of cheese but the name made it sound a little strange, turns out it is awsome. I followed the  old ladies recipe except i used heavy whipping cream instead of milk.  I used a mixed of cheddar and mozzera then added some italian seasoning between the cheese and panko bread crumbs,   i then set the oven to broil for the last 5 minutes to crispen up tge top. This dish is currently my favorite way to cook lingcod.

The lady was way off on the serving size, i made half of what she said is for 6 and i nearly wiped out the whole dish myself.
