    Im in the market for a BC and was wondering if anyone could give me info on what brands are good and do I want new or is used good. Basically Im just curious and want all of your opinions.....Thanks guys

I use  a  seaquest pro unlimited, i like it ,works for me.Cant recall what i paid for  it new between $350&$400 ,i have seen them for sale on SB used for $125, I would look around for  used gear in good shape. Also  i think Matt has put  up a few links in here for used gear that was a great deal.

Figure out what size you need and keep an eye on craigs list a tone of people buy brand new gear to get certified and then quit diving after the first few dives on the north coast.

Jason I bought a scubapro knighthawk 500.00, I suggest try renting different ones to see what works for you. Craigslist has alot of good deals, look out for junk though. Good luck Bro

 Im looking to buy used from somewhere but is there anything I need to do with it like take it out to the LDS and have it checked out? I tried Matts and I like the way it fit so maybe I will ask what he has and get 1 of those..........thanks for the info guys :icon_thumright:

Also  you might consider getting one that has a integrated weight system ,probably anythign in the last five years has that .

Farris bought one on Ebay it was a scubapro classic weight intergrated for 150.00 in real good shape, now that I think of it he might want to sell it, I will contact him and ask. Just talked to him and he wants 150.00 he paid 200.00 pm me for his number if your interested

 Excelent point and yes they are getting my buisness for my cert for sure I just know BC's and scuba gear are expensive so if I can save on the BC I can spread the rest to the LDS and dive trips......

Hope this isnt a reppost tried it once, Jason on ebay there is a black hawk BC medium in size, bid now is $175.think its on there about another 24 hours , might wanna check it out if you can fit a medium.
